As an integrative therapist, I approach treating anxiety and/or depression, which are mood disorders, by combining various therapeutic techniques tailored to your unique needs. I  start by providing psychoeducation to help  you understand what anxiety and/or depression is including symptoms and underlying mechanisms. I  then explore your thoughts and feelings helping you identify, and challenge negative patterns associated with these disorders. Additionally, mindfulness and relaxation techniques could be incorporated to manage stress and enhance emotional regulation. I  might also integrate elements of psychodynamic therapy to address underlying issues from your past which could be the root of the mood disorders.  By blending these approaches, this provides a comprehensive treatment that addresses both the symptoms and root causes of your mood disorders, promoting overall well-being and personal growth.
